Health and safety

Cotton are fully committed to best practices in health and safety in the working environment through developing a positive behavioural culture throughout the company.

Sustainability

Cotton will raise awareness of sustainability with our staff, suppliers, sub contractors and clients. Where we can influence the design, we will attempt to minimise impact through effective waste management, appropriate choice of materials and careful consideration of design.

Clients

Without clients we do not have a business. We treat clients in an open and honest way. We are non-adversarial in our approach and more interested in solutions than in identifying blame. Working locally for over 50 years has resulted in trust between our clients and our company probably the most important
aspect in business.

Environment

We accept the responsibility to manage
the impact of construction activities on the environment and we embrace good environmental practices. This will be communicated to staff members, sub contractors, suppliers and clients. We will
comply with relevant legislation, codes of
practices and standards. We will encourage the efficient use of renewable resources and minimise pollution.

Social responsibility

We will continue to support our community through employment opportunity, interaction with schools and contributing to local charities where possible. We will respect our people and encourage them to respect others. We
